“Things On Mountains” by Cleo---Artist Statement: The pot with the plant in it is my favorite plant. I love plants and this particular one is named Margo. The laptop is important to me because I use it for online school, and the hand sanitizer represents covid-19. In the final piece, I glued these cutouts to my mountain background drawing.

Map of Fort Henry, by Silas. Artist statement: So I play this video game called Wild West, and in this game you can do many things, but one of the things you can do is capture a fort and since I like capturing Fort Henry (one of the forts), I decided to make a map of It. It's not entirely accurate and I was thinking about building it in real life but since I know it so well I decided to make a map.

“In the Woods” by Annelise—Artist Statement: My items are: headphones, my lamp, and my desk. My lamp is important because it provides me light, and I don't like the dark. My desk keeps my things organized. My headphones are important because I listen to music a lot. Music helps calm me and makes me happy. I use my headphones at least once a day.

Ocean Anomalies by Silis ----Artist Statement: I have always loved the Ocean. I like wandering the beach and finding strange objects. To me this piece of art gives me the same feeling as wandering the beach finding treasures.

"Lost In IKEA" by Scout---I drew the couch I was sitting on, the rooster I was holding, and the chair I was looking at while I drew. For the background, I chose the colorful and interesting things from an IKEA catalog and left behind all the parts that were boring and blocky.
Safe at Home, by Otto
"Monochrome World" by Hazel---Artist Statement: The title was the first thing that came to my mind and I like it. I will now go over the significance of the objects I drew. The only one that really matters to me is the bird whistle, which I got a really long time ago. As far as the other objects, I just chose the prettiest things I had, and that I thought would work well together in a drawing.

Identities (Artist Trading cards) by Mirabel. Artist Statement: This piece of artwork are different components that make me who I am. For example the Blue Heron represents Portland, where I've lived all my life because the Blue Heron is the city bird. Some of them are more obvious like my dance one which is a silhouette of a ballerina. I believe that everyone has many different layers and parts that make them whole and these are just a couple examples of me. Have a nice day!

Candyland by Faith. Artist Statement: My medium was acrylic paint, and the theme was candy. I chose these certain pieces of candy because I love fruity flavors. My inspiration for the background was cotton candy, but I also wanted a rainbow. I have been playing with blending colors.
